What I believe:
- I believe all speech, no matter how much anyone disagrees with the content, is protected under the First Amendment.
- I believe I know how to spend and invest my money more wisely than the government ever could.
- I believe an armed populace reduces crime and functions as a last resort against any sort of governmental tyranny.
- I believe the government should not be involved in the day-to-day operations of private businesses, save for enforcement of the law.
- I believe the Federal Reserve Act has proven to be a gross failure, and that the U.S. should return to a precious metals standard.
- I believe that abortion is a despicable act, and I wish every abortion clinic would go out of business due to a lack of clientele. However, the government has no place in legislating the birthing habits of its citizens.
- I believe that anyone should be able to marry whomever they please. The government’s involvement should only be in limiting the number of persons allowed to file joint tax returns.
- I believe anthropogenic global warming is a farce designed solely to separate fools from their money.
- I believe the two-party system is broken, and neither is actually going to improve the standard of living in this country.
- I believe a government incapable of managing the health care of the senior portion of its population isn’t going to fare much better when it tries to manage the health care for the entire nation.
- I believe any tax code more than a few pages long is flawed, leaving the middle class to pay more than their fair share.
